Our Story
Rhythm & Soul Dance Studio has it’s roots intertwined with former Studio 1 Dance Studio in Woodinville. Beth Ith began dancing at the age of 2 year old because of her mom, Sue Warter’s (Miss Sue) passion for dance. In 1987 Sue opened up Studio 1 Dance Studio and successfully directed it for 26 years. Beth became a crucial part of the faculty and business of Studio 1 during it’s last 10 years and when it came time for Sue to “pass the torch” on to Beth as a dance studio owner, she was ready for the challenge. With a new facility and fresh new start, Beth built RSDS and started her journey as dance studio owner in the fall of 2013.
Beth has a heartfelt passion for dance and sharing her love of it with her students. Dance allows an individual to express themselves through movement, set personal goals, bond over a common interest with others, and touch audiences by learning how to perform and express oneself on stage. Dance builds character and confidence and shows a child that with determination and dedication, you can accomplish great things. Getting to see a child find their own love of dance through training is the best feeling as a dance teacher! Beth looks forward to many years of directing the RSDS Competition Team and producing entertaining December Holiday Showcases and June Recital performances with all of her dancers from littles to big.
Dance truly is a gift that keeps on giving and I look forward to sharing my love and knowledge of dance with every new generation to come!
